Randomness......

Today while driving home from the ward Fall Festival it was quiet in the car, except for Kenzie singing her "La,La's". But that happens all the time. Blake said "Platypus don't have ears" and then he fell asleep. Donnie and I could not quit laughing! It was so random and out of nowhere and then as soon as he said it he was asleep! He makes me laugh!

The new g word for the day is:
gabrise = surprise
(I wonder how long this will last!)

New things....

Blake cracks us up! He has started saying everything with the "ga" sound. For instance,

gajamas = pajamas
ganilla= vanilla
gasgetti= spaghetti
We don't know why this started or how he learned this, but it keeps us entertained.

He has also been disciplining Kenzie. She is like superwoman and can get out of her high chair buckle in seconds flat and so we know when she is standing up because Blake will say,
"Kenzie, sit your baby-bottom down!" Oh, the fun begins!

Kenzie is up and walking! We can't keep her down now!! She is a wild woman!! All she really says is momma, dadda and what's this? She is already our child with a million questions!

Called to Serve.....

In our ward today a new bishopric was called. This was no surprise really because of old bishop became the new stake president (and he will be the best stake president EVER!!) Well, the new bishop is an amazing man that I have worked closely with through my calling in primary. He is a spiritual giant who is always teaching me new things and new ways to look at everyday things. In all the changes, Donnie also received a new calling as Ward Executive Secretary. I am excited for Donnie and the many blessings this will bring to his life as well as ours. I can't wait to see all the things that Donnie will learn from our new bishop. I think this will be a calling where Donnie has to work and come out of this comfort zone a little bit. Good Luck my sweetie! I know you will do an amazing job!
