My little boy is in kindergarten! It is freaking me out! I am so proud of him and I can't wait to see how he grows and learns this year! Love you Blakey!

Blake was SOOOOO excited about his new Batman backpack! :)

More of what my kids say!

Kenzie: Kenzie loves saying "I love you". Well, now she says "Daddy, I Love You Me" which in Kenzie language means Daddy loves me. I love that she is talking so much! She makes me happy!

Blake: Today on the way to school Blake asked me if his Noni (my mom) would die when he was 99. I told him I didn't think so. He then said, "Do you think Noni will miss me when she is in heaven?" I told her that Noni would miss him so much. He told me he would miss her too. He then made the statement, "Do you know what they do with all the gold?" I said, "No." He said, "They give it for taxes."
He makes me laugh so hard. I love how we switch subjects so fast!

Blake-isms....

Last Sunday, we were all sitting on the couch together watching "Good Luck Charlie" (my kids LOVE this show!) and the son got this horse carraige and so at the beginning you see this old horse carriage and it doesn't look very nice and later in the show it comes back with shiny wheels, flags, and bells, etc. Blake said, "He tricked that carriage out!" Yes, my son must listen to my rap music a little too much! :)

This morning Blake and I were visiting as we were eating breakfast (kenz was still asleep). He looked at me and said, "Mommy, did you know that Cheetahs are faster than daddies?" I just laughed. Where does he come up with this stuff???

Activities!!

We have been so busy around here with all our fun activities! Blake is nearing the end of his first basketball season and he LOVED it! We loved not being out in the cold like soccer season! He was really good and this last game scored 6 points! Way to go, Blake!!!

Blake and Kenzie are also in gymnastics! Kenzie has no fear when it comes to gymnastics. She holds on to the zip line and goes all the way across the gym. I love seeing her develop her little talents. Below she is showing me a forward roll! (Yes, on the hard wood floor!)
Blake loves gymnastics too but his shorts and t-shirt are not nearly as cute as her leotard and tu-tu!!
I love having them in activities. I was meant to be the "soccer mom" driving them here and there! :)
P.S. We have had 9 inches of snow and have been "snowed" in for 3 days....snow pics to come soon!
