Dalmatian....????

Yesterday, my mom asked Blake what song he liked the best from the primary program. His answer was, "The Dalmatian song." My mom didn't recall them singing that song :) and so asked him how it went....

"How firm a Dalmatian..."
Or in other words (the correct ones)...How Firm a Foundation.....

He always makes us laugh!!!!!

Primary Program...

Today was our ward's Primary Program. The theme this year was "My Eternal Family" and we had them sit as families instead of classes. I did love how that worked. The little children have such sweet spirits and they did an amazing job! Blake had his part memorized. His question was, "What do your mom or dad do for you to show you they love you?"
We had the kids write their own parts and he said, "My daddy helps me with puzzles." So, we have been working on this for weeks!! Today we got up to the microphone and said, "My daddy helps me with puzzles and cooks cookies with me." (which btw is SO not true! I cook cookies with him! ) :) It was cute I like how he improvised on the spot! :)
But, I am also glad it is over...at least for another month and then we will start working on next year's program! :)

I have been really trying hard to learn my camera. One of my bffs, Angie is coming for Christmas and we are going to have lots of camera time together practicing. I am SO excited!!!
So here are a few from today while the kids played outside in the gorgeous weather!
This is how Kenzie looks all the time, the runny nose is now just a
common feature on her face! Dang those one year molars!

My Krew!

He is BY FAR the hardest to get a pic of right now!

I LOVE THIS ONE!

What a beautiful evening for a walk...

Tonight, we went on a 2 mile walk/run and Blake rode his bike the whole way! He is a really good little bike rider! (He takes after his daddy) Well, he almost rode over a pine cone and stopped to point it out. I told him we should collect some and put peanut butter on them and dip them in birdseed to feed the birds. He responded quickly with, "Or we could feed them to the snails." I didn't know how to respond because I was trying to camouflage my laughter.

Later, (same bike ride) he says, "Mommy, do you see a banana?" I said, "no" and he said, "Look up." And there in the sky the moon looked very similar to a banana. So now Blake thinks the moon IS a banana.

I love him and all his humor! :)

Sometimes the world is evil.....

Today I am sad and have a stomach ache that won't go away. Last night while I was watching the news (I tuned in late). There was a story of a little boy who had been murdered by his father in Nichols Hills. The little boy was darling in the pics he showed. I thought about it while I went to sleep and it kept popping into my mind during the day.

Well, tonight Donnie got home and I was changing to go to the gym and the 5:00 news came on. They were telling more of the story and they showed the picture of the father. I thought, I think I know him...but don't we all do that when they show a pic of a bank robber or something. Well, they than said his name and I do know the man. He was my doctor right after I had Blake and he is also my mom and sister's dr. This hit me really hard.
I went to the gym and the 6:00 news came on and they had even more details. I broke down in tears on the treadmill. I can't stop thinking about that little boy and how scared he must have been. I know that he is in a better place and that our Heavenly Father is holding him close.
So tonight, I challenge you to take a little extra time giving your babies their goodnight kisses and hugs....and please keep the Wolfe Family in your prayers.

We don't ride horses at our house...we ride cats! Krew is VERY patient!

A week before Halloween I celebrated my 30th birthday! I can't believe I am 30!
Thank you to my sweet husband and cute mom or throwing me a little shindig with all my BFFs! (Steve's Rib and ribbon cake)
These are MY girls. I don't know where I would be without the girls in this picture. They are all amazing women who teach me daily what it is to be a strong, loving, thoughtful, caring mom, wife and friend. Thank you for who you are and what you do for me!!! I love you ALL!!
