Back in December, we went on a little trip with James, Allie, Aidan and Ethan. We left baby Kenzie with my parents and spent some time with Blake down at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas. (Yes, Allie blogged this way before me!) :)
We first took the boys to the Rainforest Cafe. Blake and Aidan were amazed with all the animals, while Ethan looked terrified and of course we didn't think about that. So when all the animals came alive, Ethan buried his face in his mommy's arm.
He did like the fish though!
This picture is for Allie. We thought this fish was the funniest looking thing ever. He would go where the air was blowing and show his teeth. We think it may be related to the horse!
We also took some time to celebrate Blake's 3rd Birthday! He thought the volcano complete with a sparkler on top was pretty cool! And he even shared with his friends!
Blake and Aidan became closer friends over the trip. It was cute to watch them hold hands. Blake is right in the middle between Aidan and Ethan, so it was fun to see them interact.

The little boys with their suits on ready to go and get in the water! Blake was a little confused because he thought we were taking James' boat out (actually Allie's boat). When we are with them that is normally what we do, especially since our swimsuits were on!
Blake had fun down in the arcade and loved the motorcycle game, even after it was over. I can totally see him in like 13 years here. With his hat on backwards and playing big guy video games! It is a little scary!

The boys in the car! We put them all in the back and they watched a movie. It was great!! Plus Allie and I got a whole row to ourselves!
We also did some shopping! Here Blake is riding a bike at Sun and Ski!

Overall, the trip was amazing and we had so much fun with our wonderful friends. It was a WELL-NEEDED vacation for all of us. I would highly recommend the Great Wolf Lodge. It was incredible and offered so many fun things for the kids to do. Thank you James and Allie for these wonderful memories.
(Note to self: don't take expensive camera next time!)

Looks like fun! Isn't it so fun to see your kids be so excited and have so much fun playing? That is one of my favorite things about being a mom. Your pictures captured their excitement perfectly!
